Our concert series showcases exceptional folk artists in intimate, community-focused settings.
Hosted upstairs at The Greenbank Pub and at St Anne’s Church, Easton, Bristol these events bring together traditional musicians and contemporary folk innovators who embody the spirit of the folk revival — past and future.
Each concert offers a chance to listen closely, discover new sounds, and share an evening of music rooted in connection, creativity and the joy of gathering together. Advance booking is recommended, as many shows sell out quickly.
In 2025 Greenbank Folk Club hosted the following artists: Queer Folk, Craven, Goblin Band, Rachel Newton & Lauren MacColl, Mishra, Malin Lewis, Tarren, The Longest Johns, Grace Smith Trio, Archie Churchill-Moss and Good Habits.

Floor Spots & Community
Each concert will usually feature one or two floor spots - short performances from members of the folk music community we have built around our sessions at The Greenbank - sometimes their very first experience on stage or a first performance of a new project they’re working on.
In true folk club spirit, we love to encourage anyone who would like to take a turn performing for our lovely audiences to do so in a safe, welcoming and professional environment. We really cherish these parts of the night and they’ve provided some beautiful moments of connection and belonging through shared music & stories.
We like to carry this ethos through to our ceilidh nights as well, encouraging musicians from the sessions to come and play alongside our bands, again sometimes for the first time. We gently amplify these musicians into the mix the dancers can hear and it adds a whole new dimension to the sound.
Because we never set repertoire in advance, we can be very flexible on the night with what we play - allowing the band to be guided by the guest musicians from the sessions in some cases. Some musicians who have played with us for the first time have gone on to begin professional work as ceilidh musicians!
