Traditional Storytelling Workshop: The Craft, with Hannah Moore

Our workshops offer hands-on opportunities to dive deeper into the rich skills, stories and traditions of the folk arts. Led by experienced musicians, dancers and storytellers from Bristol and beyond, these sessions explore everything from traditional dance and instrumental technique to song, rhythm, oral storytelling and the cultural roots of the folk arts.

Whether you're completely new to folk or looking to develop your practice, our workshops are designed to be welcoming, accessible and community-focused. We prioritise creating a supportive environment where participants of all backgrounds, identities and experience levels can explore, learn and connect. Many of our workshops grow directly out of the music and conversations that happen in our sessions, making them a natural extension of the creative community forming here in Greenbank.

Workshops take place throughout the year upstairs at The Greenbank Pub. Each event offers a chance to deepen your skills, try something new, meet fellow folk lovers and be part of a growing, modern folk culture rooted in openness, curiosity and shared tradition.
